Ideally this will be a parabolic reflector, but for proof (pun intended) of concept I used a lid off an 18 year old Balvenie Single Malt
As you will see in the close up below the IR LED's are visible, off the not so polished and rough cut tin lid.
A quick test show that it does indeed project forward, I was able to hid another TMB (if only landing 1-2 tag) at 30ft indoors. The control registered no hits.
